“Designing Fine Jewellery has been the accumulation of my long held dreams. I wanted to create beautifully crafted pieces that were as individual and special as the woman who will wear my creations. Today, the jewellery world is full of Brands that sell jewellery because of the Brand name, not because of the individuality of the piece. Virtuti Jewellery is made by the best craftsmen, and by using their great skills it is able to take unusual and fabulous designs and be flexible for the wearer, so it can be worn in different ways. I want to recapture the emotion of purchasing jewellery by explaining my inspiration behind each piece.”

When Katerina was asked where she takes her inspirations from for various collections she admits that there is no one source of inspiration. It can be everywhere in our daily life it is just the matter of noticing those wonderful moment around us and translate them into interesting, meaningful jewellery pieces like Fred and Ginger dancers inspired by elegance of dance moves. Many of her designs, like the Dream Collection, also come from her colourful and imaginative dreams adding a touch of magic and symbolism to her creations.
Symbolism is embedded in many collections. Across cultures and times different gemstones were believed to possess ability to bring wisdom, prosperity or positive energy to the wearer. Katarina was always inquisitive about gemstones different characteristics and now is using her knowledge to reinforce the individuality of each piece bringing a powerful and unique message to the wearer of her jewellery.
